Septics

When faced with a septic back up in their homes, many homeowners quickly call a septic pumper believing it is the answer to their problem.  In most cases however, a back up is just a symptom of a problem.  Frequently it is blocked at the baffle by grease, debris or roots and once cleared by a septic service/repair company, the waste water will drain naturally.

Occasionally a back up will be caused by a build up of grease in the line from the house to the septic tank or bed.  It could also be a misaligned pipe, a pump or septic bed problem or the overuse of chemicals.  Chemicals, bleaches, detergents and soap inhibit or kill bacterial action in your septic system allowing solids to accumulate in the tank, some of which flow out and clog the drain field or septic bed. It is always best to have a septic professional diagnose the problem before spending money on a pump out.

I have never brought a plumber in and had heard many horror stories so I had apprehensions about multiple issues.  So my expectations were low…

Paul called shortly before my appointment and was at my condo maybe 5 minutes after my scheduled time.  This was surprising on its own.  Paul’s demeanor was very positive and he showed substantial knowledge.  He set out pricing before he started.  I assisted however I could and he was grateful for my assistance.  I offered Paul coffee and he drank it even though I make it very strong.  He also loaned me his dolly so that I could get the old dishwasher out of my unit rather than having to rent one.

The price seemed reasonable but I have little knowledge in this regard.

A couple of days ago I noticed some amount of back up water coming from the sink and main drain in the basement.  I started searching online seeking a solution (have a giant tree in front of my house) and RootX treatment and found this company Plumb Perfect.  I called in the early morning for the fastest appointment.  They came same day 3:30 with everything ready and drop sheets.  Everything was finished on the same day, nice and clean.  I will be their repeating customer again.  The service was perfect, clean, professional and reasonable for what they offer.  Paul was very professional and Danny was very careful and tries his best to keep everything neat and clean.  I appreciated their professional work and taking things very seriously.  Thanks again to Paul and Danny.  Everything is working perfect now.

I have had other Plumbers over the years and have never had one show up on time until Plumb Perfect!!  Like many homeowners I found them by flipping through the dreaded Yellow Pages and decided to call them because I noticed their ad stood out amongst some of the others.
